Meta Releases New Support Resources for Female-Owned Businesses

Meta has announced a host of new support measures and resources for female-lead businesses. The support measures include handy educational resources that are designed to assist female entrepreneurs pioneer their way through the next stage of the post-pandemic recovery.

Meta’s announcement formulates part of a wider push for Women’s History month, and includes some great free insights to help women business owners succeed.

According to Meta’s latest state of Small Business report, female-led businesses have been hit hardest by the pandemic. The report showed that closure rates for women-owned businesses have increased by 6% since July 2021, in comparison to little to no change from that of male-led counterparts.

#SheMeansBusiness

Last year Meta released the #SheMeansBusiness program as part the company’s broader COVID response measures. Since then, the company has continued to build on this notion; and the new support resources are a testament to that. Meta’s new update provides women entrepreneurs with even more ways to gain free insights in combination with ways that help boost their social media marketing performance.

MentHERship Video Series

In addition, Meta is launching an entire video series, dubbed ‘MentHERship’. The video series exerts the purpose of providing expert tips from female business leaders, and expands on the existing video resources available on the #SheMeansBusiness mini-site.

Cultural Guide

Meta has also released a new 34-page guide that provides unique insights into certain challenges and opportunities for women in business, in combination with tips on how to maximise success.
