Facebook recently announced its number of active users during its earnings call and it is the world’s largest social media platform in terms of global user activity. Facebook had 2.32 billion monthly active users in Q4 of 2018 which is up 9% year on year. 1.52 billion of these Facebook users login to the platform daily, and 2.5 billion items of content are shared daily on the platform. The average revenue per user was $7.37 for the quarter generating $16.914 Billion USD.
