If you’re a South African citizen and plan on visiting the United States anytime soon you will be required to submit any information about your social media accounts, they you used in the past five years. This comes from policy the US State Department implemented starting on Friday the 31st May 2019.
This information would provide the US government access to photos, locations, dates of birth, dates of milestones and other personal data commonly shared on social media.
The big question is what if you don’t publicly share this information or don’t have social accounts?
