You Can Now Customise Your User Profile on Discord Apps

Discord is adding a new feature across its iOS and Android apps that enable users to customize their profiles. This follows the feature’s release on the desktop version of Discord earlier in June.

The new option to customize your profile can be found in the settings menu under ‘user profile’. Once there, users can create a bio in 190 characters or less. If the default profile colour that was assigned to doesn’t quite fit the bill, you can select a custom profile colour.

What’s New For Premium Nitro Subscribers?

In conjunction with the rollout of custom profiles, Discord has offered premium Nitro subscribers the option to upload an image or GIF for their profile banner. Although the options aren’t new to desktop and have been around for a while, Discord saw this as a way to change things up a bit for people who use Discord on iOS or Android.

With the release of Clubhouse-like audio event spaces and auto-archiving conversations, it’s clear that Discord is transitioning to become more like other profile-centric social networks
