Sony has announced the name of its next Virtual Reality Headset. Without much surprise, it is going to be dubbed PlayStation VR2. Jim Ryan, the CEO and president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced the name as part and parcel of the company’s CES 2022 presentation.

The PS VR2 will will work with the PS5 and support:
- Haptic feedback
- Eye tracking
- 4K HDR
- 90/120Hz frame rates
- Foveated rendering
- A field view of 110 degree
The PlayStation VR2 will connect to the PS5 with a single USB-C cable.
Sony’s CEO also announced the new big exclusive title for the PSVR2: Horizon Call of the Mountain, which will follow next month’s Horizon Forbidden West.
