During a special address at CES 2022, NVIDIA announced that NVIDIA Omniverse is now available to millions of individual artists and creators worldwide, providing creators with the tools needed to build and collaborate on the vast amounts of content required for the next generation of the web.
What Is NVIDIA Omniverse?
NVIDIA Omniverse is a real-time 3D design collaboration and virtual simulation platform where artists, designers and creators can use leading design applications to create 3D scenes and assets directly from their laptops.
Since the Omniverse’s open beta launch last year, it has been downloaded by almost 100,000 creators who are supercharging their workflows with its unique AI technologies.
“With this technology, content creators get more than just a fast renderer, NVIDIA Omniverse and RTX give artists a powerful platform with infinite possibilities.” – As said by Zhelong Xu, a digital artist and Omniverse Creator based in Shanghai.
Creators will use the Omniverse’s tools to build 3D interconnected virtual worlds that will be populated with shopping centres, people, houses, buildings, factories and more.
