Ever since Netflix confirmed its expansion into video games, it’s simply been a matter of time before Netflix users could play games on the app itself. The day has finally arrived.
As of November 2nd, users can download Netflix games from the Google Play store; important to note that you’re required to have a Netflix subscription to play. If you don’t feel like going the Google Play store route, you’re in luck – as of today, Netflix will start rolling out games to the app itself.
On the app, Netflix games will be presented in its very own row, with a dedicated tab. The games will have no ads, no additional fees and no in-app purchases. Your games will also automatically default to the language preference that you set in your profile. While some games may require an internet connection, others will be available to play offline.
What Games Will Be Available?
Users will be able to choose between five games:
- Stranger Things: 1984
- Stranger Things 3: The Game
- Shooting Hoops
- Card Blast
- Teeter Up
